Early date of March, 1797 (in Samuel Mulliken's hand) on fep. 356 pages. Provenance: Early signatures of Samuel G. P. Mulliken (Newburyport, 1831). Samuel Mulliken (1761-1847) was an important American clockmaker. He served as a Captain in the state militia during the American Revolution. From the Library of Nobel Laureate (Chemistry, 1966) Professor Robert Sanderson Mulliken.
