The author had an interview with Mr. John J. Hammond, and discussed the charge of cowardice which had been brought against the Reform Committee. He became convinced that its members did not merit the accusation under which they had rested, and gives his reasons at some length for the conclusion he had arrived at. The pamphlet contains several portraits, maps, and illustrations."
