Folio, 31 cm.  Bound in contemporary full calf.  Crude leather repairs to spine.  [12], 699, [17] p. + ads. Some toning, but generally sound. ESTC T112854.  Translation of Histori van de opkomste, aanwas, en voortgang der Christenen, bekend by den naam van Quakers. 

Early signatures of Josiah and William Foster, "bought 1736."  Later signature of Abigail Foster, Mary Foster.  The Fosters were a Quaker family from the Rhode Island / Philadelphia area.  Josiah Foster (1682-1770) was a Quaker elder born in Rhode Island, who emigrated to Evesham, NJ.  William Foster (1707 - 1778), his son and Mary (1740-1809) and Abigail Foster (b. 1747), his daughters have also signed the book.
