Not in Nissen. <br> Henshall served for a time as the gardener to the Baron von Shroeder, to whom this work is dedicated. He journeyed to Java on behalf of Messrs. Rollison, Tooting nurserymen, to collect orchids on their behalf and is known to have corresponded with William Jackson Hooker (the first director of Kew Gardens), offering specimens to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. His work comprises detailed descriptions of the various genera of orchids, as well as a complete index of all the known plants.
