An interesting publication by the US military, the Military Surgeon was printed from 1907-1954.  These issues deal primarily with WWI-era medicine.  Topics include: sanitation, treatment of gun shot wounds, treatment and prevention of syphilis, treatment of shell shock (PTSD), treatment of trench fever, field hospitals, the use of X-rays, managing hysteria in war, amputations, etc.  Articles include photographs, illustrations, and fold outs.
