Some rubbing, scuffing to cover, small chip off spine head and tail. 8 pages, [62] leaves, 62 unnumbered leaves of plates : illustrations, portrait. Foxing, spotting. "From drawings by F.O.C. Darley ; India proofs before letter." Three bookplates. Including armorial bookplate of Joseph W. Drexel; and Lucy Wharton Drexel. Drexel (1833-1888) was a noted philanthropist and friend of President Grant. His daughter, Lucy Wharton Drexel (1867-1944) also owned this book.
