[Commentary on the Book of Job] Two volumes, bound as one. 2nd ed. Bound in contemporary full velum.  Quarto, 27.5 x 21 cm.  [52], 1232, [64] pages. Engraved vignette on title page. Printed in double columns. Some scattered light foxing. Some leaves have a small dampstain along top margin. Top edge of spine taped. Schultens (1686-1750) was a Dutch philologist, especially concerned with Hebrew and its cognates. One of the most comprehensive commentaries to the Book of Job. The commentary is in Latin, with Hebrew, Arabic, Syriac, Greek and other languages.
