Attributed to Stepan Krasheninnikov by the National Union Catalog, pre-1956 imprints.  First French edition, translated by Marc Antoine Eidous from the English ed. of James Grieve.  Krasheneninnikov's Opisane zemli Kamchatki (first printed in 1755) was an important account of Kamchatka, Alaska and the Aleutian Islands, which was based upon his own travels and those of George Wilhelm Stellar.
