Richard Bancroft was an archbishop of Canterbury and notable opponent to Puritanism.  He played a major role in the King James version of the Bible.  Early signature of George Frederick Nott.  Nott (1767-1841), was an English author and Anglican prelate.  Includes Nott's bookplate and related ephemera.  Wing B639; ESTC R170438.
